What does the CE mark on the bag mean?

We can see the CE mark in many places, such as on packaging bags and many commodities. Today we will share with you what the CE mark is and what it really means. The CE mark on toy packaging is probably the one we see most often. This mark is called “CE Safety Conformity Mark”, referred to as “CE Marking” (English: CE Marking), is the European Economic Community (referred to as the European Community) – now the European Union (referred to as the European Union) – the first to initiate the implementation of the A label implemented by a product to certify that the product complies with the safety requirements of the relevant directives issued by the European Union. The “safety” category of the CE mark covers four aspects, namely: the safety of users (people), pets (livestock and poultry), property (property), and the environment (natural environment). The CE mark is a safety mark that 28 European countries compulsorily require products to carry. These 28 countries are: the 15 EU member states that existed before May 1, 2004 Austria, Belgium, Denmark, Denmark, Finland Finland, France France, Germany Germany, Greece Greece, Ireland Ireland, Italy Italy, Luxemburg Luxembourg, the Netherlands Netherlands, Portugal Portugal, Spain Spain, Sweden Sweden, United Kingdom (Great Britain) United Kingdom; joined the European Union on May 1, 2004 10 new member states: Estonia Estonia, Latvia Latvia, Lithuania Lithuania, Poland, Czech Republic, Slovakia, Hungary, Slovenia Slovenia, Malta Malta, Cyprus Cyprus; among the 4 member states of the European Free Trade Association EFTA In addition to Switzerland, the other 3 member states: Iceland Iceland, Liechtenstein Liechtenstein, Norway Norway. The English of the CE mark used “EC (European Conformity) Mark”, but in the EU Product Directive No. 93/68/EEC published on July 22, 1993, “CE Marking” was officially used to replace “EC Mark”. To this day, “CE Marking” has been the official term used in EU documents. The CE mark is a mandatory product mark unique to the European Union. It is a mark that declares that the product complies with the relevant safety, health and environmental protection laws and regulations of the European Union. It is estimated that more than 70% of the products currently circulating in the EU single market have been regulated to carry the CE mark, otherwise they will not be allowed to enter the market. The manufacturer declares that the product fully complies with the relevant provisions of the EU Directive by marking the CE mark on its product. If permitted by regulations, the CE marking may also be displayed on the packaging or accompanying documents. The CE mark is not a test mark, nor is it a consumer-specific guarantee statement, it simply means that the manufacturer declares that its product complies with all relevant regulations. The “EU Directives” mentioned above refer to a set of directives that contain many essential health and safety requirements, as well as established procedures for assessing the extent to which a product complies with the regulations. Detailed basic provisions are specified for each Directive in harmonized European Standards established by regional standard-setting bodies. Therefore, manufacturers, importers and distributors of relevant products must clearly indicate that the products fully comply with the health and safety requirements listed in the “Basic Requirements” of each directive. The “European Toy Safety Directive” for toy safety is: 88/378/EEC, 93/68/EEC. Since January 1990, the European Union has required all toy products on the market within the Union to comply with CE marking standards, and to mark the CE marking on toy packaging. “CE” is the abbreviation of the French “Conformité Européenne”, which means: “European Consistency”. The above is about the meaning of CE. I hope it will be helpful to everyone.
