What is flexographic printing

Flexographic printing is a direct web printing method using a flexible raised image plate that is attached to a plate cylinder of variable length: the plate is made of a metal ink roller with engraved ink holes (Reticulated Ink Kun). The reticulated ink roller is controlled by another ink roller or a squeegee. Flexographic printing can transfer liquid or grease-like inks to various substrates. Although it still belongs to the category of letterpress printing in essence, because its printing plate, ink and imprinting process are different from traditional letterpress printing, so List it independently as a printing method.
